 READ THE FOLLOWING PASSAGE CAREFULLY AND ANSWER THE QUESTIONS BELOW:

Licchhavi King of Thakuri dynasty Amshuverma was a learned, bold and far-sighted king. He loved art, architecture and literature and was a brave king. He also got a grand palace named Kailashkut Bhawan constructed. During his period, there was a significant turn in the international relationship between Nepal and Tibet. He also established trade routes between these two nations. He also got his daughter Bhrikuti married to Tsrong-tsong Gompo, the Tibetan king. It helped strengthen the relations between these two nations. Similarly he got his sister Bhoga Devi married to an Indian king Sur Sen. It helped strengthen the bilateral relation between Nepal and India.

His Tistung Inscription proves that Amshuverma systematized caste system, which was a dark side of the 'Golden Era', the title commonly given to Licchhavi Period. He also published Sanskrit grammar, entitled Shabda Vidya Grantha.

King Shiva Deva described him as 'the man of universal frame who always destroyed his enemies by his heroic nature'. During his time industry as well as agriculture flourished. Special subsidy was provided to those who practiced animal husbandry. Irrigation canals, levied water tax, land tax, defense tax and a luxury tax were the common taxes to cover the required money for the development activities.
